Denny Dent
With three paintbrushes in each hand and rock music blaring,
Denny Dent turns a 6-foot canvas into a dramatic portrait in eight
to 10 minutes before a stunned audience, burning so much energy
that an oxygen tank is always at the ready backstage. Since
launching his Two-Fisted Art Attack 15 years ago, Dent's many
subjects have ranged from rock icons like John Lennon and Jimi
Hendrix to actors and sports legends, plus a handful of famous
Bills (Clinton, Gates, Marriott). Based in Denver, Dent is
represented by Harris Goldberg/Concert Ideas in Woodstock, N.Y.
