What room amenity do you wish every hotel had?
“The number-one room amenity I would like to see is
wireless Internet connections in all areas of the hotel and
sleeping rooms. It should be provided without cost, although
today’s fees are nominal, because this has become the standard way
of doing business.”

“I like the complimentary shoe shine. There’s nothing worse than
having a presentation in the morning and you have to look all over
for a place to have them done. I also appreciate hotels that have
nice comforters, high thread-count sheets and important amenities
you might forget to pack, such as a toothbrush and toothpaste.”

“I really like nice shampoo, soap and conditioner, and I prefer
designer names like Hermès and Annick Goutal. I think it’s a nice
touch to include a loofah sponge, bath salts and an emery board.
And hotels get top marks when they provide logoed shoe bags that
participants can take home.”
