What favorite destination
has your meeting outgrown?
“We liked Seattle, but while they did add on to their convention
center, it’s mostly exhibit space, and it’s meeting rooms we need.
They just don’t have enough. We’re now able to go back to Boston
next year [because of the new center]. Boston is a great draw for
us.”

“The Pebble Beach [Calif.] area. Oh, I
wish there was something larger there. We’ve only had a small event
there, but if they had something larger, I’d go back in a minute.
Also parts of Southern California, like Laguna Niguel. They have
the rooms, but not enough meeting space, unfortunately.”

“In 2002, we were in Charlotte, N.C.,
but we’ve significantly outgrown it. We were in Philadelphia in
2000, now we can’t squeeze in there. The AIA show is locked in
through 2014, but we’ve had to revise our projections. We’ll be in
San Antonio in 2007, but we won’t be able to go back.”
