Cuts:On the SpotWhat was the most unique centerpiece you’ve seen at a
function?"It was at MPI's World Education Congress two years ago
in Baltimore. The entire bar was made of ornately carved ice and
decorated with fresh flowers. The bartenders even had wells carved
into the bar for olives and cherries and such. There was another
ice carving on top at the center. It was gorgeous and so huge&
I was so impressed.

"A net bag of all different sports equipment. Hockey
stick, basketball, cleats things like that. It was big, but the way
it was configured, it didn't take up as much table space as you'd
think."

"At a Marriott corporate function, they used tiny stuffed
hummingbirds not real ones and flowers encased in an ice sculpture
shaped like a big crystal ball. It was very different, really
beautiful."
