On the SpotWhat was the most recent musical you saw, and would you recommend it?

“It was Cats, here in Tulsa at the Performing Arts Center. To be honest, I didn’t like it. The costumes were great, but I had high expectations because of the fame the musical has, and it did not live up to them. I did not enjoy the story, and I think there are much better musicals out there to see instead.”

“The last musical I saw was Hairspray on Broadway. It was everything a musical should be fun and entertaining and with wonderful costumes. I loved the 1960s music, too. Overall, it was excellent.”
