Need a refresher course on
falconry? The RockStars of RockResorts, a new program
launched by the luxury hotel chain this spring, can teach guests
about the fine art of training hawks, creating haute cuisine and
appreciating artisanal cheeses, among other topics. Guests at any
RockResort can request a session with a resident RockStar expert,
such as the Cheese Whiz at La Posada de Santa Fe (N.M.) Resort
& Spa; the Master Fal-coner at The Equinox Resort & Spa in
Manchester Village, Vt.; and the Marine Masters, wildlife experts
at the Rosario Resort & Spa in Washington’s San Juan Islands.
Costs for the sessions vary; some classes, including the cheese
