What do birds have to do with team building? The World Bird
Sanctuary in St. Louis, Mo., makes a convincing argument that
damage to the earth threatens certain bird species. Cooperation is

world.
The organization makes its point through educational programs
for groups of 100 to 1,000 people. Involving dramatic aerial
displays by hawks, owls and vultures, sessions underline how
environmental issues impact all of us, and how we all must do our
part to reverse dangerous trends.
Programs begin with a speech by Walter C. Crawford Jr., the
sanctuary’s executive director, followed by the birds’ impressive
