Breath mints serve a dual purpose with Sweet Logo
(212-927-6947). The New York City-based company makes ad-wrapped
mints for the convention market. “They’re like small, personal,
handheld billboards with a gift attached,” says founder and
president Jay L. Brownstein. Clients, including a host of TV
networks, Sapporo Beer and the National Kidney Foundation, have
blanketed convention cities with the customized confections, which
are distributed in hotels, restaurants, even beauty salons.
Customers pay 7.9 cents or less per mint, depending on order
size.
