MEI SOFTWARE, makers of two popular meetings programs,
Association Plus and MeetingTrak, is to be acquired by E2Enet Inc.,
a capital investment firm specializing in Internet companies. The
first infusion is $2 million, with the promise of another $10
million over two years. MEI will use the money to develop its
concept of e-associations. Earlier this year MEI introduced
PortalPlus, Web-based tools for associations that want to create
online communities.
