When vacation time comes, Jean A. Eberst, director of Education
and Meetings for the Ohio Osteopathic Association in Columbus,
often heads for the shore, namely Kiawah Island, about 21 miles
from Charleston, S.C.
"The beach is beautiful and the golf is great, and Kiawah has
meeting space, too," says Eberst, referring to facilities at Kiawah
Island Golf & Tennis Resort (800-654-2924; www.kiawah-island.com), the
only large hotel on the island. "I would love to plan a meeting
there," she says.
