Ten of the event industry's newest and brightest have been named winners of the inaugural Tomorrow's Talent initiative by the Meetings Show and M&IT Magazine. The honor aims to recognize meeting planner leaders of the future and provide a platform for nurturing, mentorship and support across the industry.

The under-30 title holders were chosen by a group of expert panelists for excelling in a variety of categories, including achievement, ability to face challenges, ambition, engagement with the wider industry and potential future impact. The 10 winners of Tomorrow's Talent include:

"We were delighted with the exceptional quality of entries received for Tomorrow's Talent in it's first year of running, and the judges had a really tough time narrowing it down to just 10 winners," said Ross Barker, the Meeting Show's commercial director, in a news release. "We all agree that the young talents who have been chosen have not only already made a huge impact within their companies and the wider industry, but have the potential to do amazing things in the future."

The winners will enjoy VIP attendance at the 2019 Meetings Show, taking place June 26-27 in London, and will have the chance to join the show's advisory board for 2020. The annual event will bring together more than 4,500 industry professionals for two days of meetings, networking and learning.

Northstar Travel Group announced in April its acquisition of Centaur Media Travel and Meetings Limited (CTM), the owner of well-known exhibitions and events serving the travel industry, including the Meetings Showthe Business Travel Show and Travel Technology Europe, from Centaur Media PLC.

David R. Blansfield, executive vice president and group publisher of the Meetings Group at Northstar Travel Group, served  as one of the judges on the Tomorrow's Talent panel. Other judges included Paul Harvey, deputy editor of M&IT magazine, Fiona Macdonald, senior manager, business events, for VisitBritain; Ryan Curtis-Johnson, head of marketing and PR at DRPG; Ross Barker, and Jack Marczewski. account director for the Meetings Show.
