The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is expanding its Latin American footprint with three new Radisson Blu properties. In Chile, the 105-room Radisson Petra La Dehesa Hotel will be rebranded as the Radisson Blu Santiago, La Dehesa, by the first quarter of next year. Guest rooms, public areas and on-site F&B outlets all will be upgraded. The property has a full-service spa and health club on-site, as well as flexible meeting and event space.

The new-build Radisson Blu San Andrés Resort & Spa, on the Caribbean island of San Andrés, also will debut in the first quarter of 2016. The island, near Nicaragua and technically part of Colombia, is known for its white-sand beaches and coral-reef diving. The boutique resort will offer 77 suites, each with a private plunge pool, as well as two restaurants, several bars, and a spa and fitness center.

In Colombia proper, the 190-room Radisson Blu at Santa Marta Resort & Spa is scheduled to open in 2017. The upscale property will have two restaurants (one poolside), as well as a spa and fitness center, and 17,000 square feet of meeting space.
