Cvent, one of the top event-management technology companies, is acquiring QuickMobile, the mobile-event app provider. The acquisition, along with the company's 100 employees, will enable Cvent to offer clients a broader range of mobile-event app and on-site solutions. The deal is expected to close before the end of this month.

The combined entity:
• Serves more than 25,500 customers, including 80 percent of the Fortune 100 companies;
• Has delivered 16.7 million app downloads;
• Is committed to driving innovation in mobile-event apps and event technology with nearly 1,100 research and development resources, and
• Offers more 950 product support professionals to ensure customer success.
