The guest list app Zkipster, which allows teams to check in guests and update attendee lists in real time, has added seating-chart functionality to its repertoire. Floor plans are now available for 100 venues in New York City, Los Angeles, London and Washington, D.C., which planners can use as a basis for quickly creating and sharing seating charts. "Our new seating feature marks the death of sticky-note seating charts, digitizing another key process in the planning and execution of an event," said David Becker, co-founder of Zkipster. The app also offers options for creating name badges and can incorporate guest photos and profiles, making it easier to quickly identify and attend to VIP guests at large events.
