Why here?
GREEN BAY BULLETIN
Green Bay's KI Convention Center recently completed a $23 million, 35,000-square-foot expansion and now offers 80,000 square feet in meeting and event space.

The city is developing the 34-acre Titletown District just west of Lambeau Field. Plans for the major attraction include a public plaza with a park, a luxury hotel and a restaurant/brewery. The project should debut in fall 2017.

GO SOUTH
Celebrated as the waterpark capital of the world, Wisconsin Dells, along the Wisconsin River, also offers natural wonders, attractions, entertainment, gaming and James Beard-worthy cuisine.

Local Update

Next August, the city will debut the Westin Milwaukee, a 220-room property that will offer fine dining, a lobby bar, a gym, 9,000 square feet of meeting space, and stunning views of Lake Michigan and the downtown skyline. The hotel is close to Northwest Mutual's corporate headquarters; the Wisconsin Center; the Milwaukee Art Museum, and the myriad shops and restaurants on the three-mile Milwaukee RiverWalk.

In nearby Brookfield, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Brookfield has opened following a $10 million renovation and rebranding of the former Brookfield Suites Hotel and Convention Center. The 203-room property offers casual dining, a fitness center, a pool and 6,000 square feet of meeting space, plus convenient access to Miller Park, the Milwaukee Zoo and the 200-acre Wisconsin State Fair Park.

A new two-tower, 500-room hotel is being pitched for the city's downtown sector. The $280 million proposal is accented by approximately 103,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space; it is one of two plans that developers hope will vitalize a two-acre city-owned parcel just west of the 188,695-square-foot Wisconsin Center.

Beginning on March 9, Delta Air Lines will inaugurate a new daily nonstop flight between Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, establishing connections to the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, as well as Japan, China and South Korea. Delta is Milwaukee's second-largest carrier.

WAREHOUSE PARTY
The Pritzlaff is a stylish complex of four historic warehouses totaling 26,000 square feet of space, recently renovated to accommodate events for up to 1,200 attendees. The rustic structures date from 1875.
