The 115-room Aranwa Paracas has opened in Paracas Bay, on Peru’s southern coast, about a three-hour drive from Lima. The resort sits alongside two natural reserves, the Paracas National Reserve and the Ballestas Islands, which are known as Peru’s “mini-Galapagos.” Each of the guest rooms includes a terrace with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Three dining options are offered on-site, as well as two pools and a tennis court. A second phase of construction, slated to debut later this year, will include a convention center with a 470-seat auditorium, three lecture rooms and three smaller meeting rooms; a 150-seat chapel; a wharf, and a spa with a saltwater swimming pool.TagsHotels and Resorts
