The 10-story, 208-room EnVue, Autograph Collection, the latest in Marriott International's group of independent, luxury hotels, has opened in Weehawken, N.J., in the Port Imperial neighborhood, a stone's throw from Midtown Manhattan. The property is managed by HEI Hotels & Resorts of Norwalk, Conn., and was developed by owners Roseland Residential Trust, a subsidiary of Mack-Cali.
Roseland has led the recent development of Port Imperial, a $3 billion, 200-acre community on Weehawken's Hudson River waterfront. Located at 550 Avenue at Port Imperial, EnVue is directly adjacent to the Port Imperial Ferry, which runs quick routes across the river to West 39th Street, Wall Street and the World Financial Center.
Each guest room in the LEED-certified property features modern décor, upscale furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows; several suites have private balconies. For meetings, the property offers a total of 25,644 square feet of space and six dedicated rooms, the largest of which, the World Vue Ballroom, hold up to 812 people for a reception. The outdoor 15,000-square-foot Skyline Rooftop can make use of a 3,000-square-foot all-season tent.
Also topside is the NoHu Rooftop Bar + Restaurant for cocktails and small American plates from chef Rocco Russo.
