JW Marriott made its North Carolina debut last week, with the opening of the JW Marriott Charlotte in the city's Uptown neighborhood. The 381-room property, owned and operated by White Lodging, sits just across from the newly renovated Charlotte Convention Center.
All guest rooms and most of the 22,000 square feet of meetings space feature floor-to-ceiling windows. Also on-site are a 24-hour fitness center, a rooftop pool and private cabanas. The hotel is serviced by three food-and-beverage outlets: Dean’s Italian Steakhouse, Caroline’s Oyster Bar and Aura Rooftop Bar. Guests can unwind at the JW Spa, which offers six treatment rooms and an express treatment pod for business travelers on the go.
"We couldn’t be more proud to introduce the JW Marriott brand to the Carolinas," said general manager David Malmberg. "With its seamless integration into the bustling Uptown neighborhood, modern design, well-being amenities and inspired culinary concepts, JW Marriott Charlotte brings excellence and legacy to life in another new city."
