The JW Marriott Nashville, owned by Turnberry Associates, will to open in summer 2018, featuring 533 modern-design guest rooms. Designed by Stonehill & Taylor, the property's accommodations will be the largest in downtown Nashville, starting at 450 square feet, with suites spanning up to 2,000 square feet.
"We are thrilled to see this project come to fruition after working closely with the talented Stonehill & Taylor team over the past few months," said Jackie Soffer, CEO and co-chairman of Turnberry Associates. "Their dynamic design execution of the JW Marriott Nashville guest rooms perfectly combines contemporary elements with a nod to Nashville's musical roots."
JW Marriott Nashville's interiors will exude a modern aesthetic with a warm color scheme and subtle nods to Music City, such as musically inspired artwork adorning the walls. Each expansive guest room will masterfully combine pale wood paneling with pops of rich brown tones and bronze finishes. Rooms also will feature floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing views of Nashville's landmarks. White-marble bathrooms will be outfitted with walk-in rain showers, dual vanities, silver fixtures, private water closets and ample lighting.
The hotel's Internet-connectivity needs will be served by a more than 1 GB guest network.
The property also will house Nashville's first Michael Mina restaurant, Bourbon Steak; a 33rd-floor terrace; a 10,000 square-foot outdoor pool venue; the Spa by JW; a fitness center, and premium retail offerings.
