Jekyll Island, Ga., to Invest $88 Million in Three New Hotels

The Jekyll Island Authority Board of Directors has approved plans to build three hotels that will bring up to 535 new guest rooms to the Georgia island. The $88 million project will include a 210-room Courtyard by Marriott and an adjacent 150-room SpringHill Suites that will open in June 2016. A future 175-room full-service hotel is planned for 2017.
