Coming soon to Atlanta's Midtown district is the Kimpton Wade Hotel. The hotel will mark Kimpton's third boutique property in the city, joining the Kimpton Overland Atlanta Airport Hotel and the recently opened Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Buckhead.
The Kimpton Wade Hotel will feature 230 guest rooms and nearly 7,000 square feet of meetings space. A ground-floor restaurant, a mezzanine bar and a 24-hour fitness center are also expected.
The hotel will be part of a mixed-use development that will also include offices, luxury apartments and 32,000 square feet of retail shopping and dining. Set in the Arts Center of Midtown, the property will be owned by a MetLife Investment Management affiliate and is being developed in partnership with AMS Hospitality. The Kimpton Wade Hotel is set to open in summer 2022; an exact date has not yet been announced.
"We're thrilled to be working with our partners at MetLife Investment Management and AMS Hospitality to bring Kimpton to yet another important neighborhood in Atlanta," said Mike DeFrino, CEO of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. "Our central location in Midtown, one of the city's top cultural and business districts, will allow us to provide our unique brand of boutique hospitality to the city's leisure guests and its corporate travelers alike."
