Event Space Upgrades Complete at La Jolla Shores Hotel in San Diego

The Shore Lawn and the Acapulco Deck are outdoor/indoor meeting venues that can accommodate as many as 200 people.

The 128-room La Jolla Shores Hotel has unveiled new oceanfront event spaces in San Diego. The outdoor and indoor spaces include the Shores Lawn, which is adjacent to the Shores Restaurant, as well as the Acapulco Deck rooftop venue. Both provide open-air settings with views of the Pacific Ocean and accommodate events of as many as 200 people.

The 2,000-square-foot Shores Lawn sits between the Shores Restaurant and the sand, and offers easy access to both the eatery and the beach. The space can be set up for receptions or banquets surrounded by garden flowers, with the ocean as the backdrop. Up to 200 guests can be hosted for receptions.

The Acapulco Deck, which covers 1,320 square feet on the second level of the Shores Hotel, provides spectacular views from both the indoor and outdoor spaces: The windows of the indoor portion look out over the Pacific Ocean, while the tri-level outdoor terrace has stunning views of La Jolla Cove and Scripps Pier. The space welcomes 120 people for receptions, 110 theater-style, 75 with a classroom setup, 60 for conferences or 100 for a banquet. 

The La Jolla Shores Hotel offers more than 8,700 square feet of meeting space in total, with the largest venue, the 3,500-square-foot Garden Patio, accommodating as many as 300 people.
