Developers have broken ground on a new headquarters hotel for the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The Hilton property is slated to debut in late 2023 with 975 guest rooms and 75,000 square feet of meetings space.

The Signia by Hilton Atlanta will be built on the northwest corner of the convention center campus and connect directly to the Georgia World Congress Center via walkway. A spa, a pool deck and a range of culinary outlets are also expected.

"Signia by Hilton Atlanta is set to transform the Atlanta skyline and impress today’s sophisticated travelers and meeting attendees by infusing state-of-the-art technology, premium design and locally inspired concepts into every aspect of the guest experience," said Gary Steffen, Hilton's global category head for full-service brands.
