Omni Hotels and Resorts is expanding its presence in Boston with a new convention property in the Seaport District. The 1,054-room Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport overlooks the Boston Harbor and sits just across the street from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

The property boasts the largest ballroom in Boston, part of the 100,000 square feet of meetings space available to planners. Other offerings include a rooftop pool, a full-service spa and a platform stage for live music and performances in the lobby.

The new hotel is home to seven dining venues. Among the food-and-beverage options are the Sporting Club, the Crescendo lobby bar, the Lifted pool bar, and Kestra, an upscale restaurant serving Mediterranean-American dishes. In addition, the hotel offers an "off-the-script experience," which allows guests to order popular menu items from the on-site restaurants for delivery to their room.

"Today's opening of Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is a further testament to Omni Hotels and Resorts' commitment to Boston, and its ongoing development strategy," said Peter Strebel, president of Omni Hotels and Resorts. "Boston is such a symbolic city in our nation's history, and we look forward to extending our presence by bringing an entirely new hospitality experience to one of the city's growing neighborhoods. Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is a true reflection of modern Boston."
