Renovations Complete at DoubleTree by Hilton Boston–Downtown

An $8.6 million renovation has been completed at the Doubletree by Hilton Boston–Downtown, touching all 267 guest rooms and all public spaces. The Theatre District hotel now has subtle Chinese touches, reflecting its proximity to the city's Chinatown. The project began in August 2012 with upgrades to the upper and lower lobbies, and the restaurant and bar. Work on the guest rooms began last November, simplifying the design and adding more electrical outlets and a multifunctional media wall to each room. The property offers more than 4,000 square feet of event space.
