A multimillion-dollar renovation has been completed at the 510-room Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown at City Creek. The propertywide project refreshed the guest rooms, redesigned the public spaces and updated the nearly 25,000 square feet of meeting space.

"With this renovation, we’re proud to offer guests the best of both worlds — the heritage and history of Salt Lake City's flagship downtown hotel, combined with the comfort and style of a newly refreshed property," said Andreo Girardi, general manager of the hotel. "Our unmatched location, steps from Temple Square, the Salt Palace Convention Center and world-class shopping at City Creek, paired with a contemporary new look, ensures we can continue to welcome business, leisure and group travelers for decades to come."

The project also updated the Salt Stone, the hotel’s signature restaurant, which serves upscale cuisine infused with local ingredients and flavors. Guests also enjoy handcrafted cocktails in Destinations Lounge, a modern cocktail bar.

The Marriott's nearly 25,000 square feet of meeting space now sports a modern aesthetic, with updated technology and a more seamless flow into prefunction areas. The property, which is across the street from the Salt Palace Convention Center, often serves as a hub for citywide conventions.
