Successful events often revolve around a spectacular centerpiece that delights attendees and also gives them something to discuss with each other. At the Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel & Conference Center in Georgetown, Texas, that centerpiece is a tree.
Specifically, a 200-year-old live oak tree, which is the inspiration behind the Live Oak Patio, a brand-new outdoor event space that is now available for booking, the hotel announced this week. Totaling 2,200 square feet, the open-air site features scenic views of Georgetown's Rivery Park and the San Gabriel River. It can accommodate up to 130 guests for a standing reception or up to 100 guests for a seated dinner.
"The Live Oak Patio is a great addition to the Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel's events offerings," said director of sales Blake Triplett. "Our hotel provides clients with a wide assortment of event options and is truly a one-stop shop, featuring stellar views, exceptional amenities and best-in-class service."
The Live Oak Patio complements the hotel's other offerings, which include 222 guest rooms, 30,000 square feet of event space, a restaurant and bar, a fitness center and a heated outdoor pool.
