The 538-room Sheraton Rio Hotel & Resort has completed a US$50 million renovation, the first phase of an extensive redesign. The beachfront resort in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has revealed a newly designed lobby, remodeled guest rooms, a new Shine Spa, a renovated fitness center, and new restaurants and bars. An additional 5,400 square feet of meeting space was added, for a total of nearly 29,000 square feet, including 14 meeting rooms and a new business center.
