Caesars Entertainment's rebranding of the former Cromwell boutique hotel on the Las Vegas Strip is now complete: The Vanderpump Hotel celebrated its grand opening June 11, marking reality television star and entrepreneur Lisa Vanderpump's first foray into the hotel world.
In this 188-room boutique property on the Center Strip, Lisa Vanderpump showcases her signature "industrial romantic" style and adds to the Vanderpump food-and-beverage venues that have already built a following in Caesars Palace, Paris Las Vegas and Flamingo Las Vegas.
"The Vanderpump Hotel has been a true labor of love," Vanderpump said at the celebration. "Like all my passion projects, this one is deeply personal. I think of it as my very own jewel box on the 50-yard line of the Las Vegas Strip – intimate, inviting and filled with carefully curated details that each tell a story."
Replete with dramatic flair
Vanderpump arrived to the grand opening celebration in a custom Rolls-Royce and entered the property in a shimmering silver address and long sheer gloves, setting the mood for an evening of theatrical glitz.
Such dramatic touches are reflected in the redesign as well: A walkway on the main floor, for instance, is lined with chandeliers from the Cromwell, reimagined with new crystals and custom shades — adding several doses of bling to the existing property. Nods to Vanderpump's British heritage are present as well, including a mural of her walking on a rainy London street.
A unique option for groups
The Vanderpump Hotel offers an intimate setting and the potential for VIP programming among the Caesars properties in proximity to Caesars Forum. The 188 guest rooms have been redesigned by Vanderpump and her business partner Nick Alain in a soft palette that offers a playful elegance and tranquil retreat from the Strip just outside the hotel doors. Vanderpump herself has curated custom in-room amenities.
Giada, the signature restaurant from chef Giada De Laurentiis, continues to operate as the property's destination eatery. Drai's After Hours has been rebranded as Soleia — providing a rooftop pool and nightclub experience with sweeping views of the Strip.
Gigolo, a new sultry lounge on-site, is named after Vanderpump's beloved late Pomeranian, Giggy. That, as well as the new Bar at the Vanderpump Hotel, are available for receptions, buyouts and executive gatherings.
