Virgin Hotels Atlanta, a new 261-room property, is slated to open in 2027 as part of Atlanta's Centennial Yards, a downtown 50-acre complex that includes residences, offices, dining and retail space.

The hotel will offer 2,900 square feet of meeting space, as well as an outdoor event lawn. Other features include a large pool deck with ten private cabanas, a ground-floor lobby bar with an outdoor patio, a rooftop bar and lounge, and a signature restaurant with a private dining room and a covered outdoor terrace that will overlook Centennial Yards' Entertainment District plaza.

The property will be the cornerstone of the eight-acre Entertainment District, which includes Cosm, an immersive venue that is located adjacent to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena.

"We're so excited to bring Virgin Hotels to Atlanta," said Joe Margison, CEO of Virgin Hotels. "In Centennial Yards, we've found a partner that shares our vision for a vibrant, welcoming neighborhood. With Virgin Hotels Atlanta, we want to bring our signature mix of heartfelt service, bold design and playful spirit to a property that feels rooted in Atlanta and perfectly matched to the energy of Centennial Yards.

"Virgin Hotels brings a bold blend of energy, personality and world-class hospitality, and we're proud to welcome their first Georgia location to Centennial Yards," said Brian McGowan, president of Centennial Yards. He added that with the hotel developer's partnership, "we've been able to bring this vision to life — creating a vibrant district that celebrates connection, culture and the future of downtown Atlanta."
