Westin Diplomat to Become Curio Property

The Westin Diplomat in Fort Lauderdale has been sold to the Thayer Lodging Group and will be rebranded in late October, possibly as the Diplomat Resort & Spa by Curio, the new Hilton collection. Major investments are being planned for the next 24 months, though no construction schedule is available. Currently, the 998-room property has more than 200,000 square feet of meeting space.
