Now open in Seattle are two new hotels, the 265-room Astra Hotel to the north, and the 232-room CitizenM Seattle Pioneer Square downtown, joining sister property CitizenM Seattle South Lake Union, which opened in 2020.

The Astra Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio property from Marriott, opened on July 15 and offers 5,000 square feet of meeting space. Sparky, a robot butler, helps take care of guest needs.

The lobby-level restaurant and bar, Otium Grill and Greens, serves a healthful menu of fresh greens, lean meats and plant-based proteins; up on the rooftop, guests relax in the Altitude Sky Lounge; and Caffe Ladro dishes up coffee, pastries and more.

Also on site are 24-hour fitness and business centers, and the meeting space can be found all on one floor.

The CitizenM is in the historic district of Pioneer Square, with a colorful façade in brick and glass with a large mosaic art installation created by a local artist to match the zeitgeist of the neighborhood. Here, all guest rooms have king-size beds, mood lighting and "power" showers. Food is available all day at the CitizenM Bar and Kitchen.

“We're thrilled to be part of the growth and cultural renaissance taking place within Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood,” says Robin Chadha, CMO of CitizenM. “With a curated selection of artwork by local Washington-based artists and our proximity to the best the city has to offer in terms of galleries, museums, boutiques, restaurants and bars, etc., we’re excited to be able to provide guests and visitors alike with an unparalleled and culturally robust experience both in and out of the hotel.”

The property does not have any dedicated meeting space.
