Ski-In, Ski-Out Hotel Debuts at Snowmass

The 99-room Limelight Hotel Snowmass has opened in Colorado just steps from the ski village's Elk Camp Gondola. Guests at the pet-friendly property will be able to enjoy complimentary breakfast, après-ski specials in the Limelight Lounge, live music and a full menu of adventure activities. The hotel represents the third in the Limelight portfolio, joining the nearby Limelight Hotel Aspen as well as the Limelight Hotel Ketchum, as the Aspen Skiing Co. further expands into the hotel business. The company also owns and operates the five-star, five-diamond Little Nell Hotel in Aspen.

"We are thrilled to bring this property to Snowmass Village and to our portfolio of hotels," said Alinio Azevedo, COO of hospitality for Aspen Skiing. "We are focused on executing our strategy to further invest in the hotel business as the owner-operator of high-quality hotel assets in leisure destinations, including expanding beyond mountain destinations."

Aside from ski-in, ski-out access to the mountain, hotel guests also are close to the shops and attractions in Snowmass Village. Other amenities include a private dining room, spa pools, a children's game area and fitness facilities. For groups, there is one meeting room. The Limelight Lounge and restaurant features signature pizzas, small bites and light entrées. A large indoor "rock-realistic" climbing wall runs up the facade of the hotel.
