Cities Vie to Host EIBTM
Five cities have been selected as finalists to host the annual
European Incentive & Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition
from 2004 through 2009. The cities under consideration are
Barcelona, Geneva, Lisbon, Madrid and Vienna, according to Tom
Nutley, managing director of Reed Exhibitions, the organizers of
EIBTM. The show has been held in Geneva since its inception in
1990, but because the organization’s contract with Switzerland ends
in 2004, Reed solicited bids from other interested cities last
year. A final decision should be made this summer, said Nutley.
