Wind Surf
Set sail aboard Windstar Cruises’ Wind Surf.
Some people go to sea for the endless meals, elaborate stage
shows and late-night gambling. Others look for understated luxury
and tranquility.
Among ships serving the latter category is the Wind Surf, a
five-masted member of the Windstar Cruises line (www.wind
starcruises.com). The 308-passenger vessel plies the Caribbean and
travels to Mayreau, a speck of an island in the Grenadines and home
to a mere 200 people.
Another stop: Dominica, where explorers can wander through lush
rainforests or simply bask in the sun.
Back on board, guests dine on some of the finest cuisine at sea,
carefully paired with fine wines. Groups can then gather in the
Library, The Bistro or a meeting room that holds 60.
