San Diego Bay's iconic Hotel del Coronado resort, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, will open a luxury residential-style hotel on-site in September 2022. The new building, Shore House at the Del, will offer 75 units, in the form of one-, two- or three-bedroom residences. The debut of the beachfront property will mark the completion of the resort's $400 million master plan redesign.
The Shore House will have a dedicated entrance, valet and a light-filled private lobby. Guest accommodations will consist of elegant bedrooms, spacious bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens, large living rooms, in-room laundry facilities, and expansive verandas with views of the ocean, harbor or resort.
"This new beachfront hotel marks yet another exciting chapter for the resort and establishes Hotel del Coronado yet again as an iconic destination for years to come," said Harold Rapoza, general manager of the resort. "Shore House at the Del provides a significant opportunity for us to deliver a sophisticated modern beach-house experience, complemented by all of the elevated amenities travelers desire, with a home-like setting that allows for privacy, connection and celebration all at once."
Shore House guests will have access to all amenities at the Hotel Coronado, including the resort's eight food-and-beverage venues, its wellness offerings, and the beach and pool facilities. Additional features for Shore House guests will include a zero-edge oceanview pool with day beds, sun loungers, private cabanas and a poolside bar; a bistro with a private space for chef's-table events; a grand living room with connected outdoor gathering spaces; and exclusive lounge areas and fire pits.
Reservations for Shore House are now being taken for stays beginning in October 2022.
