The 170-room Conrad Nagoya has opened, the first of the Hilton's luxury hotel brand in Nagoya that expands the company's luxury footprint in central Japan.

On the upper floors of the 41-story Landmark Nagoya Sakae, a new mixed-use skyscraper connected to Sakae metro station, the property is in the heart of Nagoya's business and shopping district, providing convenient access to top attractions including the Nagoya Castle and the Atsuta Shrine. The property features about 6,700 square feet of meeting space.

"Nagoya has played a significant role in our history since the opening of the Hilton Nagoya in 1989," said Joseph Khairallah, area vice president and head of Japan, Korea and Micronesia for Hilton. "The debut of the Conrad Nagoya further reinforces our commitment to this vibrant destination."

Meetings in the business hub

The new Conrad strengthens the city's appeal for executive meetings, board retreats and small- to midsize group programs. Dedicated event facilities occupy the hotel's 10th and 11th floors, centered on a 3,680-square-foot grand ballroom with 26-foot ceilings. Additional function space includes two 1,760-square-foot junior ballrooms, a boardroom and the flexible Akari meeting rooms, which can be configured in multiple layouts and divided into four spaces. All venues are supported by A/V and have dedicated events teams.

Guest rooms and amenities

The property's guest rooms, including 29 suites, all measure more than 538 square feet and feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city's skyline. The hotel's signature Conrad Suite spans 2,293 square feet on the 40th floor.

Six restaurants and bars are found from the 31st to 40th floors. Dining options include sushi and teppan kaiseki concepts, an Italian restaurant, a lobby lounge, and a rooftop cocktail venue overlooking the city.

Treatments are available at the Conrad Spa's four treatment rooms, and there's an indoor swimming pool, sauna facilities and a 24-hour fitness center.
