Monarch Beach Resort's Beach Club Closed for Renovation, Will Rebrand

Monarch Beach Resort

Monarch Beach Resort's beachfront club, the Monarch Bay Club, has closed for renovations and will reopen in April as the Monarch Bay Beach Club. The 400-room Orange County resort in Dana Point, Calif., will continue to offer all other amenities during the renovation, among them treatments at the on-site Miraval Life in Balance Spa, fitness classes, the Athletic Club [], resort pools and Monarch Beach Golf Links.

Debuting this spring, the new beach club will have a refreshed beach-cottage design and private access to the water. The entry will afford guests an immediate view of the ocean upon arrival, and new luxurious canopies and lawn furniture will be provided. The spacious bar will be enhanced by improved, sweeping ocean views, more counter space for cocktails and dining, and better seating throughout.

In total, the resort has 30,000 square feet of indoor meeting space and an additional 60,000 square feet outside for events. The largest ballroom is 12,000 square feet, and there are 30 meeting rooms in total. Eight food and beverage venues are on site, among them the acclaimed Bourbon Steak, a Michael Mina Restaurant.
