The United States remained the top destination for international association conventions in 2013, according to the annual rankings compiled by the International Congress and Convention Association. For cities, Paris was the number-one destination, unseating Vienna, Austria, which had held the top spot since 2005. After the U.S., Germany, Spain, France, the U.K., Italy, Japan, China, Brazil and the Netherlands round out the top 10 countries. Madrid, Spain; Vienna; Barcelona, Spain; Berlin; Singapore; London; Istanbul, Turkey; Lisbon, Portugal; and Seoul, South Korea, followed Paris as the top cities.
