Crowne Plaza's U.S. Flagship Hotel in Atlanta Debuts Innovative Renovation

The 495-room property now features cutting-edge guest-room work space and more

New Plaza Workspace design at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia

InterContinental Hotels Group has unveiled the newly renovated Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia, the Americas flagship property for the chain. Owned by Hospitality Properties Trust, the 495-room hotel sits adjacent to IHG's Americas corporate headquarters in the heart of Atlanta's business and shopping district.

The renovated hotel now features design innovations developed for the Crowne Plaza Accelerate brand-transformation program, including a WorkLife guest-room design concept aimed at catering to both business and leisure travelers. The property also houses Plaza Workspace, a flexible business and meetings solution with desk space, comfortable seating and tech-equipped areas. In addition, the hotel offers 32,000 total square feet of meeting space, including a 12,000-square-foot ballroom; a fitness center; a pool and a café lobby and bar. Three new on-site restaurants include Backyard at Parkwoods, an outdoor "picnic and beer" eatery featuring Southern-inspired fare in a laid-back setting.

"We continuously innovate against those changing needs so Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts can deliver the special design, amenities and experiences to meet or exceed those expectations."

Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia is the first of six new global flagships to open. Additional flagship properties in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany and Greater China are expected to debut by 2020.
