Four Seasons Casa Medina Bogotá to Open Oct. 15

The first of two Four Seasons hotels planned for Bogotá, Colombia's capital, is now accepting reservations for its Oct. 15 debut. The 62-room Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogotá, a conversion of the landmark Casa Medina residential-style hotel, was restored and completely renovated for its reintroduction.

The French and Spanish-influenced design details of the original 1946 building have been maintained and combined with modern luxuries. An all-day signature restaurant, Castanyoles Raciones y Tapas, is one of the new amenities. It will serve a Spanish-influenced menu as well as Colombian coffee to go, and offer a 16-seat private dining room.

Also on-site are a full-service spa and a 24-hour gym, as well as several meeting and event spaces. The Casa Medina room can accommodate up to 160 people for a seated dinner or 200 for a reception, and the Los Rosales room -- the former hotel restaurant -- can hold a meeting for 25 attendees or a reception for as many as 60.

The second of the brand's properties in the city, the 64-room Four Seasons Hotel Bogotá, will open early next year in the trendy Zona T.
