Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Unveils Expansive Renovation

The multimillion-dollar project completely transformed the hotel's meeting space.

The Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront recently completed a multimillion-dollar upgrade to its meeting and event space. The project includes a brighter color palette, new carpeting and updated light fixtures. The elevator waiting areas and event-space bathrooms also received improvements.

One of the hotel's outdoor meeting spaces

The 951-room hotel has 118,000 square feet of flexible event space, making it the largest meeting facility in Northeast Florida. One standout space is the 27,984-square-foot grand ballroom, which overlooks the St. Johns River. Outdoors, planners can host events on a number of river deck terraces that range in size to accommodate between 300 to 3,200 people. Additional venues include several boardrooms, hospitality suites and junior ballrooms.

Hybrid events can be held in any of the meeting spaces through the Together by Hyatt partnership with Encore Audio Visual, which allows easy virtual connectivity at all Hyatt properties.

"Our new space features modern and sophisticated updates that will enhance the meeting experience for events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences and hybrid functions," said Joe Hindsley, general manager of the new hotel.
