Sheraton Gateway L.A. Wraps Up Renovation

The Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles, which is a few blocks from Los Angeles International Airport, has just completed a multimillion-dollar renovation to its 802 guest rooms, meeting space, lobby and Sheraton Club. The updates give the property a more modern look and incorporate the latest technology.

The redesigned lobby is more elegant, and features registration pods for check-in and open seating for informal meetings and gatherings. The guest rooms, meanwhile, have been made over in a color palette of rich browns and charcoal grays to create a tranquil environment. All have Sheraton Signature beds, new furnishings and plentiful, thoughtfully located outlets and USB ports. The bathrooms feature new fixtures and showers, as well.

On the 15th floor, the overhauled Sheraton Club is a 24-hour private lounge with panoramic views of the runways at LAX. Continental breakfast, snacks, beverages and evening hors d'oeuvres also are available there.

The hotel's owners invested an additional $3.5 million to update the property's 50,000 square feet of meeting space, including 38 function rooms.

other amenities include complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, airline arrival and departure boards, luggage scales, a business center, and dining options that include a full-service Starbucks and an all-day restaurant called Brasserie. A new restaurant, Costero, will open in early August.
