Ritz-Carlton Hotel Naples Undergoes Renovation and Expansion

The ongoing project at the Florida luxury resort is expected to be complete in December 2022.

A major renovation and expansion project at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, continues at the Florida luxury hotel. The construction, which began in May 2021, reached a milestone last month when the final steel beam was placed on the property's new tower. That building will offer more than 90 new suites, bringing the property's total to 474 rooms and suites. The lobby, existing guest rooms and 42,000 square feet of meetings space will also receive upgrades, with the full project slated for completion in December 2022.

Within the hotel's new tower will be a Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge with ocean views and an exclusive cocktail bar. The expansion also includes a new restaurant by chef Satish Yerramilli, called Sofra, which will offer Eastern Mediterranean cuisine and shareable plates.

The reimagined pool complex will debut with a children's pool, adult pool, lap pool and hot tubs, while the pool deck will offer 10 cabanas with ceiling fans and televisions, 10 bungalows with air conditioning, a private bath and a service bar. A full redesign of the spa was completed in January 2022.

"As we honor the legacy of the resort's nearly four decades on Florida's Paradise Coast, we set our sights on providing the finest services and facilities for our guests in the next chapter for this iconic property," said Mark Ferland, area general manager of The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples. "As the needs and desires of today's traveler have evolved, we look forward to continuing to exceed our guests' expectations through sophisticated design elements, globally inspired culinary themes, amplified guest experiences and unparalleled service."
