Anaheim/Orange County Visitors & Conventions Bureau Rebrands as Visit Anaheim

After more than 20 years as the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau, the California destination marketing organization has changed its name to Visit Anaheim and unveiled a new brand. The new look is the result of a year's worth of deliberation and consumer, meetings and travel-trade research, and is the first step in better communicating the DMO's distinct personality, according to a press release from Visit Anaheim.

The logo was designed by Kansas City-based MMGY Global, a travel marketing agency, and has multiple elements that tie back into Anaheim and Orange County's past, present and future. The big "A" is reminiscent of a number of big A logos from organizations around the destination; the looped "h" is similar to an Anaheim logo created by a former Disney designer; the dot over the "i" is Disney's dot; and the palm tree icon speaks to the the city's robust revitalization. The colors of blue and marigold are a tribute to Southern California's endless ocean views, clear blue skies and warm sunny days.
