Westgate Resorts Acquires LVH–Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

Westgate Resorts has acquired LVH–Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, the former Las Vegas Hilton that had been owned by Goldman Sachs following a 2012 foreclosure. The 2,961-room property will be renamed the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Westgate, a time-share company with 28 resorts, will convert a portion of the guest rooms to luxury time-share villas. "It is important to know that our resort hotel and legendary luxury suites will remain open to Las Vegas visitors and tourists, for vacations and conventions,” explained Westgate founder and CEO David Siegel. “We will be providing the best of both worlds on our resort property." The Navegante Group will continue to manage the hotel, as it has since October 2012. Siegel and his wife, Jackie, were the subjects of the 2012 documentary The Queen of Versailles.
