Short Cuts:
In Anaheim, It’s Playtime for Planners
Twister, Anyone?

At the Anaheim Marriott (www.gowestmarriott.com), conference offices for
on-site meeting planners come stocked with the usual paper
products, coffee, water and a little something extra a giant toy
box. “Those planners are there from 6 a.m. until late at night. We
thought it would be a good way to show we care and at the same time
give them a little break time,” says Chad Sitkowski, director of
convention services, who initiated the idea. Playthings include
whoopee cushions, water guns, a miniature putting green, Velcro
dart boards and the classic game of Twister.
