PCMA today revealed its "20 in Their Twenties" class of 2019, a roster that represents "the next generation of business events leaders and 20 of the brightest and most talented young professionals," according to the association. Those on the list come from around the world and work for a variety of organizations both big and small.
"I have no doubt this class of bright, skilled professionals will achieve success, and PCMA is proud to assist them at every stage of their career," said Meredith Rollins, executive director of the PCMA Education Foundation.
The 2019 honorees, supported by the PCMA Education Foundation and Experience Columbus (Ohio), will be feted at the PCMA Convening Leaders conference taking place Jan. 6-9, 2019, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.
Each member of the "20 in their Twenties" was selected by a committee of veteran industry professionals as well as former "20 in their Twenties" honorees. Applicants were required to be full-time employees in the business events industry and no older than 29 on Jan. 9, 2019. They were required to provided examples of industry leadership and a video statement, along with professional references.
In addition to their recognition in January, the honorees will receive complimentary registration for the 2019 PCMA Education Conference taking place in June in Los Angeles, plus PCMA membership and educational products.
