The FAA has prohibited U.S. airlines from flying to or from Israel's Ben Gurion Airport for up to 24 hours. The FAA said the notice was issued because a rocket landed about a mile from the airport this morning Delta Air Lines earlier had suspended service until further notice between Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, and its New York-JFK hub. Delta flight 468, a Boeing 747 from JFK with 273 passengers and 17 crew, was diverted to Paris-Charles de Gaulle yesterday following reports of a rocket or associated debris near the airport in Tel Aviv.
