The Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort in South Carolina will become the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort on Feb. 1, 2012. As part of the transition, the 295-room property will undergo a renovation. The hotel has more than 24,000 square feet of meeting space, several dining options and a spa, and is affiliated with the Palmetto Dunes community, which offers bike trails, 25 tennis courts, 36 holes of golf and a lagoon system for kayaking.
